Nissan Terrano 2017 launched at Rs 9.99 lakh

Nissan has launched an updated Terrano 2017 at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This quoted price is charged for the entry-level diesel and petrol (only petrol model in the entire range) variants. The top model; the diesel automatic, has a price tag of Rs 14.20 lakh.

The cabin of the SUV is revamped with a soft-touch upper dashboard, driver seat armrest, freshened up upholstery, cruise control, and multi-functioning steering and a 7” touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and voice control also seen on the Renault Duster. However, the rear AC vents have been excluded from the new model.

The Terrano 2017 continues to be driven by the engines of its predecessor i.e either a 1.6-litre petrol engine mated to a five-speed , manual gearbox cranking 104hp or the 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine available in two choices- a 85hp and a 110hp. Where the powerful 110hp unit gets a choice of a six-speed AMT or a six-speed manual transmission, the 85hp is available with just a five-speed manual gearbox.

Externally, the SUV features new electrically retractable turn signals and wing mirrors.
