FCA India has launched a new petrol version of the Jeep Grand Cherokee at a price-tag of Rs 75.15 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Along with the introduction of a new model, the carmaker has also slashed the prices of its entire portfolio luxury SUV’s.

The fresh addition; the Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit is driven by a herculean 286hp, 347Nm, 3.6-litre Pentastar powerhouse, mated to an eight-speed paddle shift automatic gearbox. Apart from the Gen II automatic transmission, the Grand Cherokee Summit and Limited models feature the new 75th Anniversary fascia with improvised ‘billet-like’ plating on the grille. The SRT on the other hand gets both upper and lower cooling intakes on the front façade. Air Suspension, Electric Power Steering (EPS) and ParkSense are some of the few new enhancements made on the vehicle.
